IMD is an independent academic institution with Swiss roots and global reach, founded by business leaders for business leaders.  It offers Business Transformation and Leadership Development programs to organizations by bringing insights, tools and mindsets that help the organization deal with its real issues and enhances learning by creating positive business impact.  Its Global Center For Digital Business Transformation, a joint initiative with Cisco, focuses on the execution and implementation challenges of digital transformation.  Its academic publications, reports, articles and contributions in the media address the practical difficulties underlying a digital transformation.
